Hello there! My name is Akoson. I hold qualifications in Physics and Computer Education and am a certified, registered teacher with the Teacher’s Association. I began my professional teaching journey in 2013 and became a high school Head Teacher in 2016 at just 26 years old, gaining valuable leadership and classroom experience along the way. I specialize in teaching English to teenagers and young adults, and I’ve also worked with toddlers, which has helped me develop patience, creativity, and adaptability. My lessons are structured yet fun, focused on building confidence in speaking, writing, and everyday communication. Outside the classroom, I love exploring the beach, new restaurants, and the cinema, and I enjoy singing and dancing to Afrobeats and K-Pop. I also love Japanese animation, especially Naruto Shippuden, which even inspired me to learn a few Japanese words, helping me connect with students and create lively, relatable lessons. I teach because I enjoy helping students express themselves clearly and confidently in English, and I love seeing their progress over time.
